MONSERRATE 

A 521 meters above Bogotá, on top of the hills, is one of the most recognized in the Colombian capital religious attractions.Founded in 1640 and remodeled in 1920, the shrine receives weekly a large number of pilgrims who ascend the hill in order to fulfill their promises or know one of the most famous places of the country.This cultural and religious appeal can be entered via the funicular station: Carrera 2E No. 21-48, or on foot.
